My Story
Fashion has always been an integral part of my life. Growing up, I have been incorporated with a vision in the fashion industry by watching my grandmother hustling in the intricating world of fashion. Back in the days, I have seen all her struggles and success in managing her own boutique, and her ability to unite her artistic judgement and entrepreneurship excites my fascination with a career in fashion.
I began my journey in fashion by studying Fashion Design in Singapore, where I gained hands-on experience through an internship at Metro, working on moodboards, technical flats, and product updates. It was during this time that I discovered a growing interest in retail merchandising—the way design intersects with the commercial side of fashion, shaping how collections reach and resonate with people.
To deepen this understanding, I chose to pursue International Fashion Business in the UK, believing that fashion must be both creative and commercially viable. Studying in the UK allows me to engage with a global fashion ecosystem, where I can observe trends, market strategies, and consumer behavior on an international scale. My goal is to bridge design creativity and business strategy, ensuring fashion is not only expressive but also accessible and impactful worldwide.
